Freediver
One breath. Endless ocean.
Freediving is diving in its most natural form. No tank, no bubbles, just you and the water. Florida springs are one of the best places in the world to learn.

Your first step toward discovering why freediving is becoming a popular way to explore beneath the waves. No previous freediving course is required.
Freediving is about inward power, discipline and control. If you've always wanted to enter the underwater world quietly, on your own terms, staying as long as your breath allows, then freediving is for you. Taking the PADI Freediver course is your first step toward discovering why freediving is becoming a popular way to explore beneath the waves.
To enroll in a PADI Freediver course you must be at least 12 years old. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with snorkeling, skin diving or freediving is required.

A different way to dive
Freediving isn't extreme.
It's natural.
Most people picture competitive breath-hold divers going to extreme depths. That’s not what PADI Freediver is. It’s a beginner course that teaches you to be calm, safe, and comfortable underwater on a single breath.

No equipment between you and the water
Freediving removes the tank, regulator, and bubbles. What’s left is silence, simplicity, and a more natural connection with the water.

Florida springs are world-class for freediving
Crystal-clear water, stable temperatures, and outstanding visibility make Florida springs one of the best learning environments anywhere.

It trains your mind as much as your body
Freediving builds calm, focus, breath control, and confidence that carry into every part of life, not just the water.

You don’t need to be a scuba diver first
Freediving and scuba are separate paths. Many students start freediving without ever touching scuba gear.
